Customers, makers and market organizers have the opportunity to contact markets and vendors— we would expect that people will use these contact forms appropriately and will treat those contacted courteously.

Using our website:

By using our Website you are agreeing to our terms and conditions, privacy policy, data protection and transactional terms and conditions (small businesses, makers and market organizers only). See policies for more information. We may update terms & conditions from time to time and any aspect of our service agreement so please feel free to check these regularly.

Access to the Website is for use in an appropriate way to source items and browse markets around North America. If at any point we feel the Site is being used inappropriately we reserve the right to prohibit the use of our Site without notice and furthermore disable any account. We will not be liable if for any reason any of the Services are unavailable at any time or for any period.

Any information provided to us by you will be stored and processed in accordance with our privacy policy. By providing any such personal data or other information you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy. When you create an account with us, keep your login details safe and do not disclose to a third party.

When using our online market, all transactions are carried out directly with the seller and are not processed through Our website.

Copyright/links/virus/hacking:

You may share links to our Site but this may only be in a fair and legal manner.

 

All content on our Site is copyright by Our Community or the respective Member.  You may not copy in whole, or in part, content shown on the site.

You must not make claims to be associated with our Site, other than as a Member.

Any attempt to gain unauthorised access to our Site, the server on which our Site is stored, computer or database connected to our Site will be reported as a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. You must not also attack our Site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack. We will co-operate with the relevant law enforcement authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our Site will cease immediately.

Transactional Terms & Conditions:

 

Our Community only offers service to other businesses and not directly to consumers. All account applications are reviewed prior to acceptance.  No contract for services exists until your application has been accepted by Us.

Payment

 

All stallholder billing is through Stripe. We do not store any banking details and do not have access to them.

​

Our Small Business/Maker membership packages are billed on a monthly basis, unless supplied under specific offers.

​

Our Market Organizer membership packages are a one-time billing. Markets are billed per market. 

​

Cancelling member accounts

 

When an account is cancelled all services and offers relating to the account will be terminated immediately.  No refund or rebate will be offered in relation to unused services including, but not limited to, one-to-one mentoring sessions, sign up offers and online market participation.

Your right to cancel

 

All membership payments are taken in advance, and are non-refundable.  Membership packages renew automatically. You may cancel your membership at any time and it will affect your account immediately. It may be in your best interest to cancel within 5 days of renewal to ensure you utilize a full month and do not get charged for the following month.

​

We reserve the right to cancel an account if we feel it has been mismanaged.  We do not accept every account that is created as it is a curated platform.

 

For Market organizers on OC, we expect to see a good level of creative vendors at your events, have a good rapport with vendors.

If we feel that your market is no longer suitable for our Site we (Our Community) reserve the right to delist your event after at least one Market has occurred. 

We feel that our standards are paramount and you will be informed if we feel that your market is no longer suitable for Our Community. Where we delist your event no refund will be due providing at least one event date has passed.

Content

Member Content

As a Member it is your responsibility to ensure that all information (including your name and contact details) on the site is correct and accurate. This information will be stored on the site.  

We do not store any personal information on site, except for your basic contact details. 

 

Any content that you upload to the website is shared willingly by you, it is in your best interests to keep it up to date and we ask that it is your own and that you’re not infringing or violating any third party’s rights by uploading it. By uploading content to the website, you are confirming that you have the rights to use these images. By uploading content to Our site, you grant Us license to use it in marketing related to Our Community and your business.

Support offered by Our Community

​

Any information shared by Our Community on the private members Instagram, on their website from the members area or by Deb that is information we have gathered for the sole purpose of our members must not be duplicated for your own purposes beyond running your product business.

Discount codes and any affiliations must not be shared with non-members.

Any breach of this will result in removal of membership.

Services offered by Our Community

​

Online market

​

We make no guarantee of sales being made on the evening, nor do we take any cut of any sales made as a maker/small business. As part of the event, you are required to share it on your social media platforms and use the branded images (if supplied).

​

Any sales made with a vendor is in accordance with their terms and conditions and not ours. We take no responsibility for disputes in the event of an issue. As the items have not been purchased through any payment gateway on our servers we hold no information of the customers.

​

Banner printing service

​

We work with a 3rd party company to support our makers and their businesses. Images supplied to us for re-production must be owned by the small business/customer that has supplied and uploaded them for use by the printing company. In the event of a dispute arising due to ownership of any image or detail, hard copy or digital- if provided by you, then you will be entirely liable. If you are not the owner, creator or originator of the file(s) or detail provided, it is your responsibility to obtain the legal rights for the re-production and use.  By uploading files or artwork, you (the customer) are taking full responsibility regarding ownership and usage and are the intellectual owner or you have permission or the file is permitted to be reproduced in the form of your request. You take full responsibility for the files you upload and Our Community LLC will not be responsible for any claims with regard to infringement.

Affiliations

From time to time We will have associations with third party companies. We take no responsibility for your interactions with these organisations.
